God's Purpose Prevails

If there’s one thing our family has learned on this journey, it’s that no matter how carefully we plan, God’s purpose will always prevail. Proverbs 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.” Those words have taken on new depth for us as we’ve begun to follow His leading in tangible, unexpected ways.
When God first gave us the unique calling to launch The Youth Church Project and partner with churches across the country, we had no idea how it would all come together. We had a residential property in South Carolina, along with a commercial space, and we felt Him nudging us to repurpose them—turning our home into a corporate rental for traveling professionals and renting out our commercial space. As soon as we prayed and said yes, He brought the right tenants and the plan fell into place, providing just what we needed, with us acquiring more real estate along the way. It was a vivid reminder that God takes care of the details when we obey. We surrendered and trusted that God had a specific purpose for us and we can’t wait to share each faith-building detail!

The Adventure of Surrender


Letting go of our own carefully laid plans isn’t easy and it often means stepping into the unknown. But surrender isn’t about having everything perfectly lined up; it’s about trusting that God’s purpose is bigger than our limitations. In each step of this journey, we’ve witnessed how He orchestrates even the smallest particulars. Our role is simply to say “yes,” remain obedient, and watch God move in ways only He can.
Wherever you find yourself today, we hope Proverbs 19 encourages you to surrender your plans to the Lord. You may not have all the answers, but that’s the beauty of walking by faith. Faith is knowing that God has you, even when you don't understand the "why or how" behind it. As we continue to follow His direction—whether it involves renting properties, traveling to new places, or meeting people we never expected, let’s remember that He is our source and provider. This isn’t just about our family’s adventure of faith—it’s about your story, too. We hope to encourage you to seek after God’s perfect will for your life, because His adventure awaits!
